Kelly Jenkins, MA, LPC-S, NBCC

Greetings! I’m Kelly Jenkins, a licensed professional counselor with over twenty years serving as an educator in the public school system; two years as a high school teacher and eighteen years as a school counselor.  The backdrop of my professional career is my experience as a therapist working with adolescents in group homes and foster care.  In addition to serving some of the most vulnerable, I was also afforded the opportunity to serve students, staff, and parents in helping them reach their goals and thrive in their endeavors.

The greatest experience of my personal life and professional career is the opportunity I had to live and work in The United Arab of Emirates.  This life-changing experience shaped and sharpened my worldview; reminding me of the complexity of the human dynamic and the necessity of us to see people in the fullness and wholeness of who they are. Therefore, I believe counseling is a collaborative partnership that incorporates the input of the individual.  Together, we can foster a strong positive relationship that equips you with the tools you’ll need to grow. I believe in assisting you in cultivating a growth mindset. I strive to help individuals remove barriers, while offering support as they reach their greatest potential.

I await the opportunity to share my experiences with you and to empower you to meet the goals you set forth for your own personal journey.

My education and qualifications include:

Licensed Professional Counselor (Georgia)

State Certified Counselor (Georgia)

National Board-Certified Counselor

Master’s Degree in Counseling, Clark Atlanta University

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Hampton University
